On Saturday the Lunn clan returned to Carinda with Garry scoring winning double, including Ten To Zero in the Dubbo City Toyota Carinda Cup (1400m) and Count On It in the preceding race.
Ridden by Tamworth jockey Glen Lynch, Ten To Zero ($3.40), owned by Peter Harrow and his family from Geurie, cleared out in the straight to win by more than three lengths from Mr Corone (Greg Ryan, $6.00) and Sergeant Bilko (Daniel Pitomac, $11.00).
Lynch also rode a very good race on the Garry Lunn-trained Count On It in the Brigalows Pastoral Company Class 1 Handicap (1400m).
From the outside barrier, Lynch quickly had his mount in a very good position running fourth and Count On It ($9.00) eventually scored by a half length from the Michael Lunn-trained Sinister Sums (Kacie Chater, $10.00) and Beauyoichi (Jeff Kehoe, $10.00).
Aiming for a winning hat-trick, Garry Lunn had Bluey's Bolt engaged in the final event, a Benchmark 50 handicap over 1700m.
Well ridden by Parkes jockey Michael Hackett, the Rodney Robb, Nyngan-trained Right Of Reply ($3.20 fav.) settled last before receiving a nice run through the field and finishing best to score a convincing win over Bluey's Bolt (Glen Lynch, $3.80) and Darkness (Greg Ryan, $7.00).
Dubbo's champion jockey Greg Ryan treated the good sized crowd to a display of his great skills when riding a winning double, Irish Nip and Jestafide.
Over the concluding stages of the "Pier Pier" Paraway Pastoral Company Maiden Handicap (1000m) the george Wright, Parkes-trained Irish Nip ($4.40) gained the advantage to beat Coming Or Not (Kody Nestor, $2.20 fav.) by half a length with more than four lengths to third-placed Fiery Devil (Adam Sewell, $7.00).
Ryan then settled the Clint Lundholm, Dubbo-trained Jestafide ($1.70 fav.) in last position before cutting loose and winning the Loch Lomond Border Leicester Stud Maiden Plate (1400m) by nearly seven lengths from Amazin' Amy (Beany Panya, $10.00) and Single In Paris (Tiffany Jeffries, $6.00).
Narromine trainer Kylie Kennedy had a win with her recent arrival from Goulburn, Ain't She A Dame.
With apprentice Michael Haley in the saddle, Ain't She A Dame ($6.00) led all the way to win by nearly three lengths from Parragundy (Kacie Chater, $12.00) and Chatby Star (Kody Nestor, $8.00).
