Jordan Wright was last seen around midnight on Monday July 14 in Kelso.
He had told his family he was travelling to Dubbo to visit his mother for a few days.
The 18-year-old did not arrive at his mother's house and his family is now concerned as there has not been any contact since he left Kelso.
Inquiries indicated a person fitting Mr Wright's description bought a ticket from Bathurst Railway Station to travel to Dubbo, but it could not be confirmed he boarded the train or, if he did, if he arrived in Dubbo.
Mr Wright is described as being of Aboriginal appearance with a dark brown complexion, approx 170 to 180 cm tall and weighing between 70 and 80 kilograms.
He is of a medium build with black hair and brown eyes and at the time of going missing he did not have any facial hair.
He was wearing a dark green hoodie and light blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding Mr Wright's location or who sees him is requested to contact Bathurst Police Station on (02) 6332 8699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Mr Wright's family would be grateful for any assistance the community can provide in locating him.
