DRTCC hosted three full house performances of Peppa Pig Live! Treasure Hunt, totaling over 1400 attendees.
DRTCC manager Lisa Christof was more surprised of how quickly tickets sold out.
"It has been the fastest selling show in DRTCC's history which indicates the huge following that Peppa Pig has on television and in the community," she said.
Additional performances were announced shortly after the show went on sale in February.
All three shows were almost at full capacity by the end of March which forced DRTCC to commence a waiting list.
Ms Christof said the theatre is a special way to entertain children during school holidays.
"The greatest impact for DRTCC is that this children's show has brought in new audiences that may not normally visit a live performing arts theatre," she said.
"Hopefully, parents and carers can then see the array of children's shows DRTCC has on offer for the remainder of the year.
"It is a unique opportunity to keep the children entertained during the school holidays and share the magic of live theatre with their little ones."
