Ryan pleaded not guilty to a charge under Australian rule of racing 135(b) that he failed to give the Shane Cunynghame-trained Grey Pariz every chance in a race at Dubbo on June 20.
Yesterday's inquiry, which at times saw things get heated between Ryan and chief steward Todd Smith, lasted three hours and resulted in the top jockey being rubbed out from July 9 through to August 20.
