The under-12s, 13s and 14s will be in action at Campbelltown in the Division 3 section of the competition while the under-15s side will be at Wollongong in Division 2.
With local netball enjoying another stellar year, Dubbo Netball Association (DNA) coach and publicity officer Karen Weekes said hopes were high for some impressive performances.
"We've had some really good preparation, the under-12s especially, they've been undefeated in their two carnivals this year," she said.
"Sharon Edmonds coaches the under-15s and they've gone from strength to strength while the 13s and 14s have been getting better too. The 13s have a really strong defence while the 14s have been working on some new combinations because they lost players from last year."
Linda McLeod, Amy Whitely, Carmen Appleby and Brooke Bennett will be the other coaches guiding the Dubbo sides and Weekes said after such a good preparation the teams were ready.
"It's been an exceptional year, Mick Darling has come on as a strength and conditioning coach and his results are really starting to show, especially in the under-15s and we've got a really good team of coaches who all work together."
While the teams competing in Division 3 will be mainly going up against regional rivals, the under-15s will be meeting a number of teams from Sydney and other larger associations and Weekes said the girls were confident of surprising the competition.
"It's really good for the association to have a team in Division 2 and that's where we want all our teams to be," she said.
"The girls have performed well in recent years in Division 2 so they're hoping to be right up there again and maybe take it out."
The competition begins today with matches played all weekend before coming to a finish on Monday.
