After returning from round one with mixed results the boys from the bush once again made the trek to Newcastle to face their formidable Hunter and Charlestown opponents.
The Dubbo Masters team was the best on the day as they found a winning combination.
The Masters smashed Hunter with a 125-23 win. Craig Pettit was named player of the match and his 26 runs was the highest score for the visitors. Tim Beckenham was solid with the ball, taking 7/-15.
The second Masters game against the Charlestown home side was also an even match.
Unfortunately, Dubbo did not quite have enough for the win, finishing with a 111-98 result.
Once again, Craig Pettit was player of the match, with his 24 runs adding well to the final tally. His bowling figures of 3/-2 sat nicely alongside Andrew Walden's 3/9.
In the Men's Ones, Dubbo fared quite well against Hunter with a 107-135 result.
Dubbo's Jordan Peacock was the Player of the Match after scoring a massive 39 runs, the highest compiled by an individual in that game. Aiden Bennewith bowled well, taking 2/10.
Dubbo did not get a win against Charlestown with the home side taking a 161-128 score in the second match.
Best batsman for Dubbo was Jordan Peacock again with 30 while Mat Skinner was the pick of the bowlers, taking 2/8.
In the Men's Twos division the Charlestown team was too strong for Dubbo, winning 95-53 in a low-scoring contest.
Despite the difference in scores there was only one skin separating the two teams.
Justin Knudsen and Jarrod Toole were Dubbo's strongest with the bat, both scoring 16 runs. Joel Johnston also took 5/-13, an impressive result for the talented bowler.
