Topping the years 5 and 6 school dance group section, teacher Lisa Smith was very pleased with how the students performed.
"We had 19 students in the group, with three boys," Miss Smith said.
"It was great to see the boys wanting to be involved too."
The group have been rehearsing every Tuesday in their lunch break since the beginning of the school year.
The students danced to Happy by Pharrell Williams, which was very well received by the group, Miss Smith said.
"This is the first year we've been able to offer dance as an extra curricular activity to our students," she said.
"Hopefully we will be able to carry this on every year now."
Dubbo South Public School came in second in the section, with Narromine's St Augustines School locking in third place.
Dance adjudicator Adam Blanch said he was very pleased with the standard of dance from the school entrants.
Mudgee Public School were extremely happy with the comments they received from Mr Blanch, who said their performance was energetic and well executed.
"There was a great sense of stage craft," Mr Blanch said.
