8.45am: What do you think of the state government's decision to sell-off 49 per cent of the state's electricity network? Despite a poll conducted in Dubbo last week showing 70 per cent of people were against the sale, the National Party agreed to it.
The people will now have their chance to have their say at the next election.
Troy Grant couldn't be reached for comment yesterday but it is believed he voted for the partial sell-off. Orange MP Andrew Gee voted against the sale and Bathurst MP Paul Toole for it.

8am: A string of violence-related issues have occurred in Dubbo schools has been documented in a report that detailed 36 incidents in Western NSW in Term 4, 2013.

*NARROMINE: Operation Stay Alert has been deemed a success with no fatalities in the Orana region and reduced offenders in a number of categories.
*DUBBO: A Dubbo resident has been left angry after their property was vandalised twice in less than 24 hours over the long weekend.
*NARROMINE: Narromine Fire and Rescue are asking everyone to avoid complacency with fire safety this winter. Winter is the most dangerous period for house fires because of the number of additional electrical appliances that are run in households.
