Macquarie Credit Union has offered up $15,000 in support of the event running for almost two weeks in October.
The deal was announced at the festival's seveninseven dinner this week.
The securing of the festival's first major sponsor has its chairman punching the air.
"It's all coming together," John Walkom said yesterday morning .
"I said it would take at least three years and this is our fourth.
"This will enable us to take the festival to another level."
Mr Walkom said the DREAM festival would help Macquarie Credit Union celebrate turning "50 years young" in 2014.
"The DREAM Festival and Macquarie Credit Union's values, community focus and goals are a good fit," he said.
Macquarie Credit Union's general manager Matthew Bow congratulated "all involved who have helped facilitate this community event".
"For Macquarie Credit Union, partnering with the festival provides an excellent opportunity to support our region and community members," he said.
"It will play a major part in our 50 years young celebration events program."
Mr Walkom said the festival's 2014 budget was yet to be finalised.
He said the festival was again seeking $40,000 from Dubbo City Council which had included the figure in its 2014/2015 estimates, now on public display.
"We're getting strong support. We've got some more announcements to roll out over the next couple of weeks," the chairman said.
The DREAM Festival will run from October 13 to 25 with the series of seveninseven dinners a vehicle for promoting its program.
The dinners, held monthly between May and November, offer Dubbo and district residents the chance to taste cuisine from seven continents without leaving home.
Western Plain Cultural Centre's Outlook Cafe delivered the first dinner for 2014 this week to a sell-out crowd of 90 people.
Its Greek cuisine with a "modern fine dining twist" was in keeping with the dinner's theme of black tie with a touch of Europe.
