DUBBO City Council has officially named the successful tenderers for the next stage of the $4.1 million redevelopment of the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets.

Director corporate development Ken Rogers said $3,314,386 worth of tenders had been awarded to four contractors.
He said David Payne Construction would complete concrete paving for $1,147,600 and act as principal contractor responsible for safety supervision and site management for $55,000.
Proway Livestock Pty Ltd will construct the sheep yards and ramps for $1,209,938, and Central West Civil Pty Ltd complete roads, truck park and associated works for $666,603.54.
JLE Electrical will complete electrical works for $235,245.
"Early works at the site are currently underway with the bulk of the work to take place in the first half of the financial year to complete the full redevelopment of the saleyard facility by December 2014," Mr Rogers said.
The director said the 2014/2015 draft operational plan and budget outlined a number of projects as part of the upgrade that have been carried over from the current financial year into the 2014/2015 budget.
They included $2 million for a sheep yard upgrade; $75,000 for a workshop upgrade; $200,000 for a car park extension, and
$100,000 for a shade structure over the cattle yards.
"Furthermore the draft budget for 2014/2015 includes additional upgrades to the saleyards as part of the redevelopment including $50,000 for trough upgrades; $20,000 for cattle ramps, and $20,000 for ongoing sheep yard replacements," Mr Rogers said.
The draft 2014/2015 operational plan will be on public exhibition for community feedback until 5pm, Friday, May 30.
