Having neatly curtailed what may have been a custody battle bar none, estranged couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are now taking care of final post-marriage logistics.
A host of delivery trucks has been pictured reportedly removing Holmes' belongings from the $US30 million ($28.55 million) Beverley Hills mansion she shared with the Mission Impossible star.
The juggernauts, laden with air-conditioned trailers, were seen leaving the Dawson's Creek actress' one-time home on Wednesday, headed for storage.
Now based in New York, where she rents a $US12,500 ($11,897) per month seventh Avenue apartment, complete with fitness centre, valet services and concierge, Holmes is laying no claim to the seven-bedroom, nine bathroom 1937 home, which was bought after a prenuptial agreement had been signed, according to X17.
Amongst the couple's property in Italy and England, a Montecito bolt-hole, valued at a mere $US3 million ($2.85 million), is remaining in Holmes' grasp and the couple's six-year-old daughter, Suri, will spend time with both parents as part of the hastily-reached divorce settlement. She is due to start school in Manhattan within weeks.
Hollywood heavyweight couple TomKat parted ways in June after a five-year marriage that saw the actors tie the knot in a grand ceremony in Italy's 15th century Odescalchi Castle. Scientology is rumoured to be a root cause for the marriage break-up.
