AFTER a nail-biting win over Parkes in round one, and last week’s 35-point thrashing at the hands of Dubbo, it would take a brave man to predict what Orange City will produce on Saturday.

The Lions travel to Forbes, one of the toughest road trips of any Blowes Clothing Cup season, looking to redeem themselves.
“Forbes are always a tough prospect over there,” Lions coach Mick Gray said.
“We’ve had plenty of success at Grinsted Oval. We’re hoping the boys will bounce back.”
Forbes are also coming off a heavy loss, to Narromine, and Gray said his players could expect to face an uncompromising Platypi outfit.
“Forbes always have a very good forward pack,” Gray explained.
“We’re both coming off losses so it will be a good game. They’ll be physical, and we can’t let them get momentum in the forwards. We made that mistake last week, and any time a good pack has momentum they’ll just get a roll on.”
The Lions outfit has changed dramatically after the loss to ‘Roos - Steve Levitt and Billy Freeman are unavailable, to be replaced by Ben Wright and the returning Mitch Pearce.
Harry Taberner and Jake Davis replace Tom Nell and Jackson Coote respectively, while Duncan Young has moved from No. 8 to five-eighth, allowing Chris Scoins to take his place at the back of the scrum.
“Duncan is a very smart player,” Gray said.
“We think Mesui [Lemoto] will fare better by pushing out one. We’re expecting Gus Brotherton and Nick Quinn to return in a fortnight, Harry Collins and Darcy Garlick will both be available then too.
“They’re all first graders, and played in last year’s premiership side. We’re unlikely to change a winning outfit, so this current side can keep their spot by winning games.”
Orange City and Forbes kick off at 3.15pm, in Forbes.
