The colouring competition will give kids aged five to12 years the chance to design and colour their ultimate football, while the Favourite Players competition will give teens aged 13 to18 years the opportunity to write who their favourite league player is and why.
Macquarie Regional Library director John Bayliss said the Colouring and Favourite Players competition are a NRL One Community event that links in to the week long festival of rugby league initiated by Country Rugby League.
"The Country v City clash is just around the corner and this is a great opportunity for Dubbo's kids and teens to start getting excited and show their support for the game," Mr Bayliss said.
"I encourage as many kids and teens as possible to enter the competition and to come down to the library at 4pm on Wednesday, April 30 to meet the legends of league who will present the winners and talk to the public.
"The winner of both the Colouring Competition and the Favourite Players competition will each win a general admission ticket to the match."
There is an added chance to win with NRL players on the day drawing a lucky winner who will be presented with a Country Origin football signed by former St Illawarra and NSW five-eighth Trent Barrett, the coach of the 2014 Country Origin team.
The entry forms for the Colouring competition and Favourite Players competition are available from the Macquarie Regional Library or can be downloaded from the What's On section of www.mrl.nsw.gov.au.
Entries can be submitted to the Dubbo Branch Library in hard copy and close on Sunday April 27.
