A WOMAN has been threatened with a knife during a theft at a takeaway store on Tuesday evening.

About 7.15pm a man walked into the West Dubbo Shopping Centre store and threatened the attendant, demanding cash.
The woman handed over the cash and the man left the scene.
Police are now appealing for information to identify a male they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The male is described as being between 15 and 19 years of age, tall with a thin build and wearing a dark-coloured hoodie with red writing across the front, and dark-coloured tracksuit pants with the word “Champion” written in white down the side.
Police have provided CCTV footage of the man they believe can help.
