4.15PM: A body has been recovered in the search for missing Wagga man Brent Little.
While it is yet to be confirmed, the body is believed to be that of missing man Brent Little, who disappeared late last week.
Mr Little, 23, was last seen in the water at Wagga's Wiradjuri Reserve when he went for a swim on Friday night.
His disappearance sparked a land and water search, which saw police and volunteer organisations trawling both the river and the area around Wiradjuri Reserve.
NSW Police divers spent the weekend searching the waterway to no avail. They left the city on Sunday afternoon, with daily patrols to be undertaken this week.
Mr Little's family, headed by father Darren Little and mother Michelle McFeeter, had planned to kick off their own search earlier today.
Emergency services are in the process of retrieving a body from the river, downstream from where he was last seen.
Just two months ago, Mr Little's life changed dramatically with the birth of his son, Kayden.
"His life revolves around that young kid, it's brought out a different person in him," Darren Little told The Daily Advertiser yesterday.
MORE TO COME.
