"We are only designed to drink water," she said.
As Dubbo's own nutritionist, Jennifer deals with a variety of clients however she is particularly passionate about children's eating habits.
A new study from Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed that beef, one of the most popular types of meat among adults, has topped the list as the most disliked meat, with 67 per cent of Australian children aged 2 to 12 years old preferring other alternatives.
Ms Price agrees with this result, saying that beef is a heavy option for a child's small digestive system.
The study also showed that the most problematic food group with children overall was vegetables.
Ms Price said that people's general thoughts towards their greens is often from having a large amount forced upon them as a child.
"We need to remember that children's taste buds are much more fresh and alive than adults," she said.
"I would recommend for parents to try and small amount of new vegetables on their children's plates every so often.
"All tastes are different, so people should not target specific food groups as being disliked."
The common trend she has found when dealing with local clients, is the attraction that humans have to eating brightly coloured foods.
"As humans, we are attracted to colour, it's a part of evolution," she said.
"Colourful fruits and vegetables contain high amounts of vitamins and antioxidants.
"It's a shame that marketing companies have realised this, with colourful confectionery high on a child's eating priority."
As a nutritionist, Jennifer's main concern is to educate others on the significant changes they can make to their eating lifestyles.
The idea of eating from fast food restaurants is strongly discouraged by Jennifer, who says she often encourages parents to provide healthier alternatives at home.
"It's simple enough to re-create the idea of eating takeaway meals, with homemade burgers or nuggets and chips."
