A man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted three women within 30 minutes in Darlinghurst on Thursday night.

The 41-year-old man first approached a woman in Hyde Park near College Street about 7.40pm and punched her on the side of the neck, police said.
She fell to the ground and sustained a small cut to her right elbow and a bruise to her right leg.
About 20 minutes later, the man allegedly punched another woman in the face on Francis Street, causing a laceration to her top lip. She ran away and called police.
The man then approached another woman shortly after at the intersection of Hargrave and Francis streets.
He allegedly pushed her into a wall, then to the ground.
The woman sustained minor injuries to her right shoulder and right knee.
The man was arrested about 8.05pm on Yurong Street and taken to Kings Cross police station.
He was charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of common assault.
A NSW police spokeswoman was unable to confirm reports the man was under the influence of alcohol but said "it was possible".
He was refused bail and is to appear at Central Local Court on Friday.
