A free sausage sizzle and stalls selling a range of items from pink cupcakes to crocheted coat hangers all contributed to the overall cause.
Narromine Shire Council mayor, Cr Bill McAnally said about $18,000 had been raised by a variety of means including a golf day, a pigeon race Calcutta and two bowls days on Trangie and Narromine plus the proceeds from the breakfast were expected to push the tally into the $20,000 range by day's end.
