The club members, including a number of war veterans, get together every Saturday to compete with a good number of swimmers always in attendance.
Led by 'The Colonel' the Ducks are one of the longest-running sporting clubs at Dubbo with events such as the annual Clive Roots Relay dating back as far as 1969.
With a focus always on fun rather than serious competition the club has enjoyed recent meetings where race winners were awarded hams and turkeys and last Saturday was the perfect time for friends and family of all the swimmers to gather and celebrate Christmas.
