UNIVERSITY of Sydney School of Rural Health students new to Dubbo were given a warm welcome at a function held on Thursday night at Two Doors Cafe Restaurant.

Each year students from the University of Sydney's medical program study train and live in Orange or Dubbo for up to a year for a rural clinical placement.
The students will go through a full orientation of the facilities provided by the School of Rural Health, as well as the community in which they will be immersed.
The next cohort of students to arrive at the School of Rural Health will be the year 4 students from the Sydney Medical School.
They will arrive in March 2014 to begin their year of study.
