Competitors played a round-robin before commencing the finals series, which was hotly-contested.
After four rounds, Bartholomew was comfortable at the top of the Division 1 table on 56 points. He also proved to be too strong throughout the night, defeating all but one of his opponents in the final six round-robin series of division 1.
The end result saw him take home the final prize over previous champion Geramy Seymour and Tom Lovedee, who finished second and third.
In Division 2, Roseanne Marchant had been sitting on 41 points and in second place on the ladder behind Greg Riley before heading into the finals.
Although only winning two from five of her round-robin games, Lady Luck was on her side and Marchant came out on top ahead of Greg Riley with Susan Bartholomew in third.
Darts has been a very successful contest between the various players, who are enjoying the friendly and competitive atmosphere of Dubbo Sports World and the call has gone out for more players to provide greater competition and be a part of a bigger prize pool.
A new series commences at 6.30pm Thursday, October 3. The evening will be a come and try night for interested newcomers so grab a partner and come on out.
