Co-ordinator Dan French said participants will be playing Blitz cricket, a fast and furious four-a-side 45-minute game.
"Dubbo Sports World is proud to host a day of fun, excitement and action," he said.
"The game time is just 45 minutes, everyone bats, everyone bowls. And up to 30 teams can play. Being four-a-side also makes it easy to grab a team."
Dan hopes to get as many people involved in the fundraising event as possible.
"We hope to get all cricket clubs supporting the event, from their A-grade down to their under-12s.
"Along with them, we'd like to see mums and dads, dads and lads, everyone. It's a great opportunity for a fun day.
"It doesn't matter about their level of experience. It's just all about having fun on the day."
Because the event is a fundraiser, Dan said there is a target of $3000 which will assist the Dubbo and District Junior Cricket Association.
This time last year, the fundraising helped to send the boys to the Indoor Cricket World Cup in South Africa. However, there is no dedicated project this year, the funds will assist with cricket youth development.
So far, participants have already shown their generosity, with Dubbo Sports World offering the venue and equipment for free and umpires also giving up their time on the day to help a worthy cause.
Macquarie Inn has already jumped on board as a sponsor and there are very generous sponsorship packages still available.
Entry is just $40 per team, to play two games in their 90-minute timeslot.
Games are staggered through the day at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm.
Blitz cricket participants also get a souvenir photo to keep that highlights the sponsors of the day their own contribution.
