The Gurus proved too strong for the Tropical Thunders in the Division 1 major game, with an 83- 61 result.
Adlai Shipp was the highest run scorer on the night, while teammate Kel Blacket took five wickets.
In the Division 1 minor semi-final, Fireants stormed home against OFS in a crushing 70-0 victory. Fireants' Scott Tucker had a blinder of a game, scoring 38 with the bat, and taking 13 wickets.
The Division 2 major between Slappers and Canals was hard-fought all the way. Canals were the overall winners, with a 115-84 scoreline.
Tim Palm for the Canals was the highest net run contributor, scoring 12 and taking four wickets.
It was an evenly-matched game between The E Team and Marauders in the Division 2 minor semi-final, with The E Team eventually coming out on top, with a 105-96 defeat of their opponents.
Strongest player for the match was The E Team's Blake Birchall who made 27 runs and took three wickets.
The Division 2 preliminary final will be played between The E Team and Slappers while Division 1's Fireants will have to wait until Thursday night before mounting their attack on Tropical Thunder.
Indoor cricket will also feature among the sporting line-up of this Saturday's Pink Night with the Western Stars Men's One indoor representative side to go head-to-head with the Whitney's Cup-winning outdoor team, the RSL-Colts.
This promises to be a great match kicking off at 2.30pm as part of the festivities organised by Dubbo Basketball.
The afternoon/evening will also feature netball and the State League basketball game against Illawarra, with a focus on raising money for Dubbo charity the Pink Angels.
The action starts at Dubbo Sports World at 1.30pm with the netball then followed by the indoor cricket clash between the big guns of Dubbo cricket beginning at 2.30pm and the State League basketball game starting at 5pm.
