Linda Louise Holmes, 31, pleaded guilty to two charges when she was brought before Magistrate John Favretto in Dubbo Local Court.
The court heard the offences put Holmes in breach of a good behaviour bond previously imposed for resisting an officer in the execution of his duty. Legal Aid said Holmes needed her licence and wanted to go to the Lyndon Withdrawal Unit at Orange to complete a 10-day medically-supervised drug and alcohol detoxification program.
Magistrate Favretto said Holmes should have thought about the need for a licence before she drove 137km/h in a 100km/h zone.
"She put herself and others in danger,'' the magistrate said. "Miss Holmes will not undertake any recommendation from the probation and parole service towards rehabilitation.
"I will take no action on the bond but if she reoffends she is likely to go to jail. She has placed obstacles in her own way. I don't have any confidence in her rehabilitation."
