Dubbo lagging behind on higher education

THE DUBBO electorate ranks below the state average when it comes to the likelihood of its constituents having a tertiary qualification.

It is one of the findings of the NSW State Electoral Districts Ranked by 2011 Census Characteristics research paper, prepared by the NSW Parliamentary Research Service.

The research found 16.14 per cent of people in the Dubbo electorate held a tertiary qualification, compared with the NSW average of 27.58 per cent.
