Mrs Campbell had put a call-out on Facebook for people to donate household items and animal supplies to the 30-plus victims who had lost their homes to the inferno.
The television footage she watched upset her, especially with loved ones living in the area.
"I just thought of everyone losing everything, it's terrible," she said.
"I have children and I just felt for them all - and all I could think of was if we lost everything what would we do?
Friends throughout the region have shared Mrs Campbell's request and the cause has gathered momentum.
She said the response was bigger than she anticipated, to the point where she is running a Prado, a horse float, a trailor and a ute to the township. And she needs help.
"I can only do so much by myself, so I am asking if anyone can lend a hand with either trucks or transport or with fuel or diesel.
Mrs Campbell said people could provide clothing, linen, toiletries, non-perishable food and toys would be desirable. Ms Campbell is also appealing for stock feed.
"We need feed for horses, sheep and cattle - it's all gone," she said.
