Boombalata will start from box two in the Betfair Blue Paws Maiden Series Final (318m), which carries a first prize cheque of $540 while Midnight Ivy lines up in box eight for the Tara Greyhound Equipment 4/5th Grade Stake (400m).
The pair come from the highly successful Hesa Felon x Miss Bliss litter bred by the Ginns, which has had runners win multiple races across the central west in recent months.
Boombalata finished second in last Thursday's heat behind Janderra's Rebel, which will start from box eight in the final while Boombalata will jump from box two.
A win would end a frustrating run of placings for the black dog, which has been to the track on nine prior occasions for four second-place and three third-place finishes.
Of the three heat winners - Janderra's Rebel, Maybelline Lady and Myalla Whirl - Dubbo-trained Maybelline Lady has fared best at the box draw and will jump from the inside.
Janderra's Rebel, which ran the quickest of the heat times, jumps from box eight while Myalla Whirl will come from box five.
Twenty minutes after the final is run, Midnight Ivy will be out to record the sixth win of his career when he starts from box eight over the 400m journey.
From 14 starts so far the black dog has recorded five wins and four minor placings and is aided by the fact he has won his only prior start from the pink box.
His biggest danger is likely to come from Passed Fantasy, with the Dawn Lee-trained runner to come out of box three.
Last week from box four the black bitch finished third behind another of the runners in today's race, Lucy Roxon, but if she jumps well from box three and goes anywhere near her best time of 22.94s she should prove hard to beat.
