A YOUNG family, including a six-month-old baby boy, eight-year-old boy and a 15 year-old girl have escaped their burning property near Narromine yesterday.
The children's 55-year-old father evacuated the homestead when it caught alight yesterday evening.
The property, about 40km out of Narromine, has suffered over $200,000 damage after a grass fire destroyed the house and machinery.
Five Rural Fire Service (RFS) trucks attended the blaze on Mungery Hall Road after it was reported at 6.05pm on Sunday.
