Cathy Neely and Michelle Coughlin were among volunteers who had offered their time to wrap gifts for MS Australia.
Ms Neely said the response from shoppers on the first day had been "excellent".
"We've wrapped lots of toys, and heaps of chocolates," she said.
"We are giving Santa a lot of help."
Each of the gifts had been wrapped in festive paper with a ribbon and a gift tag.
Peak Hill resident Jenney Southwell was among those having her gifts wrapped.
She said apart from being able to donate to charity, there were other benefits to the service.
"They're doing a great job," she said, "And my partner will be home when I get home, so having the gift wrapped will mean there's no danger of it being seen before Christmas!"
The gift wrappers will be at Dubbo Centro between 11am and 3pm today to wrap last-minute Christmas gifts.
"Come down and see us and we'll save you the hassle of gift wrapping," Ms Neely said.
