DUBBO RSL Social Golf Club members enjoyed a fantastic day on Sunday with a field of 64 for the final of the two-man ambrose championship.

Sponsor of the day was Wayne Mawbey at the Matilda Motor Inn with Len Swan handing out some great prizes.
The winners on countback were Scott Chippendale and Justin Moses with a 69 scratch, nett 63 which allowed them to take the 2012 Championship honours, with Anthony Dodd and Tim Iverach second.
The ball competition went to 63-3/4, those players being Ross Coady, Adam Cox, Thomas Barker, Len Swan, Lindsay Mitchell, Richard Smith, Mark Murray and Niall McNicol.
Nearest the pin winners on the 5th; A-grade Len Swan 500cm, B-grade Ross Coady 400cm, C-grade Bruce Sotheron 80cm. On the 8th; Nathan Morris 500cm. The 11th: Les Murray 148cm, 15th; Ian Edmunds 157cm and the on 18th with shot of the day Lee Wilcox 30cm.
The golden putter jackpot was back to 13 metres for $122.50 and the putt was taken and missed by Anthony Dodd and will jackpot to 12 metres this Sunday.
The Bradman prize was awarded to Brett Chippendale and Russel Phibbs.
The $50 club money: $40 Jeff Clark, $20 Reg Pipe, $10 Peter Gleeson and the weekly jackpot of $15 was not won by Laurie Caton as he was not at the presentation.
The meat trays went to Hanlon Hyland, Dean Ulgiati (2), Jake O'Brien and Steve Iverach (2).
This week we have the December monthly medal which is sponsored by Matt Lindsay at the Australian Poker League. It is also the final of the Mug of Mugs which is a play-off for the monthly mug winners who are Jeff Carrig, Mark Murray, Thomas Barker, Dave McGrath, Ian Edmunds, Brian Clarke, Phil Reynolds, Gavin Weekes, Robbie Dunn, John Skinner and Guy Naden.
The day's event is also the qualifying round for the 2013 individual match play and the starters are Justin Moses and Gavin Weekes.
