On Sunday afternoon an audience of 350 people gathered in the Joyce Schneider Auditorium at the DRTCC as the 2013 season was previewed.
The season has the theme of Come To The Party: Enthralling, Exhilarating and Extraordinary.
Guest artists Todd McKenney, Ian Cooper and Lucy Maunder attended the launch and performed for the audience.
DRTCC manager Alan Youngson said 15 months of planning had gone into putting the program for 2013 together.
"If we don't sell out a lot of these shows I will be surprised," he said.
"You have to be planning to get the tours on offer and you negotiate to lock them in."
Mr Youngson described the Dubbo as "spoiled for choice" because of the number and variety of performances coming to the DRTCC in 2013.
"I bring in 25 shows then commercial presenters bring in another 20," he said.
Some of the shows available in the 2013 season include Todd McKenney Songs and Stories of Peter Allen, The Music of Andre Rieu Spectacular, The Phantom of the Opera, The Melbourne International Comedy Roadshow and The Wiggles.
Mr Youngson said the DRTCC was trying to target all the different markets across the region with the 2013 season.
Previously audience members from more than 250 postcodes have bought tickets to DRTCC shows.
"I am trying to encourage the 15 to 50-year-old demographic to be subscribers," he said.
"With the comedy and other shows we are trying to encourage the younger demographic to book ahead and save money."
Subscription tickets are on sale for the 2013 season until January 11.
