Scary Spice, aka Mel B, was in Dubbo to support her only artist in The X Factor grand final Jason Owen. Mr Owen visited the hub of the central west to perform at the Dubbo RSL Club last night and to visit his hometown of Albert.
Mel B and her entourage arrived at Dubbo on Wednesday and have since had a whirlwind tour of the city, appearing at such hotspots as the Milestone Hotel and Wylde Fire restaurant.
She appeared at the RSL Club and opened Mr Owen's performance, which was in front of hundreds of fans.
Milestone employee Emily Caton, who served Mel B on Wednesday night, said it was good to see a celebrity at her workplace.
"I was star-struck to say the least. She was talking and having a good time with her friends and a few of the locals outside on the balcony," she said.
On social media, residents of Dubbo and its surrounding areas posted photos and comments about when they encountered the X Factor entourage.
Mick McGuinness was on the same flight as Mel B and Mr Owen from Sydney to Dubbo on Wednesday and said they were "both down to earth''.
Lynne McDougall said she saw the crew at Narromine yesterday morning, but was unable to see Mel B.
"She didn't have her window down in the limo, she obviously didn't want to take the day away from Jason," she said.
Susie Stevenson said she met them both in Albert yesterday, and witnessed Mel B holding a baby joey.
Viewers can watch Jason Owen on The X Factor on Sunday night, with the grand final on Monday night.
