More than 100 karters contested 10 classes over the two days of competition.
Phillip King won Senior National Light while James O'Brien won Clubman Light.
It was a welcome return to karting for O'Brien in a new kart after a seven-month lay-off.
Peter Blyton also had a great weekend with a third in Rookies.
Other good results by local drivers were achieved by: Kieren Martin 4th in rookies; Luke Blyton 6th, Ashley Van Woerkom 7th, Corey Williams 9th and Mickaela Wrigley 10th in midgets.
Bert Wrigley was 4th in Clubman Heavy after suffering a shattered wheel in one of the heats which wrecked his chances of a podium placing.
All drivers who were visiting for the first time were very impressed with the new track with most rating it as the best in NSW.
All the Dubbo members who didn't figure in the places gained a great deal of experience over the weekend by racing in larger-than-normal fields.
The next major meeting coming to Dubbo is round two of the new Super 8 Series on August 24 and 25. Dubbo Kart Club will also host the National Final of this series in December.
Three local karters will be travelling to Sydney's Eastern Creek kart facility next week to contest the NSW State Championships over the weekend of August 3 and 4.
Phillip King will be attempting to defend his State title in Senior National Light that he won at Dubbo last year. His brother Brendan will also be contesting the same class.
James O'Brien will be racing in Clubman Light and it is hoped that one of these drivers can bring home another State Championship.
