The winner is Stacey Matthews, who received 23 per cent of the votes.

In taking the prize, Ms Matthews beat out 60 other contestants who lined up at the Dubbo Turf Club on February 28 for the Daily Liberal’s cameras.

The public were the judges for the competition this year and almost 550 people logged on and voted in the online poll.

Although the weather on the day was not the best the competition on the field was still fierce with many women (and some men) donning their finest frocks and hats for the races.

As the winner, Ms Matthews will now receive a dinner for four at the Macquarie Inn and a selection of six bottles of wine to celebrate her success.
