Prize jackpots as first winner fails to show up

Where was Brian Quade?

A $500 cheque was waiting for him at The Good Guys, as

the first of the Daily Liberal’s treasure hunt competition winners, but at 12.30pm yesterday the cheque went unclaimed.

The Good Guys owner Rodney Sparrow and Daily Liberal staff waited with the cheque at lunchtime yesterday, eager to meet the first prize winner.

The no-show means next week’s prize will be $1000 for

one lucky person to spend

at their favourite Dubbo store.

Daily Liberal editor Aaron Lakin urged readers to get their entries in and read their paper closely.

“Who wouldn’t want $1000 to spend at their favourite Dubbo store,” he said.

“Get your entries in and

keep a close eye on the Daily Liberal.

“You could be the lucky winner and you don’t want to miss out on this prize.”

So make sure you get

your entries in and hunt for

your name in next week’s Liberal, because you could

have a grand to spend at your favourite local store.

There have been 133 entries in the competition so far, with nine weeks left to go.
