"Don't kill him - bring him in alive.''
Mick Peet, the father of suspected Dubbo murder victim Lateesha Nolan, is praying more blood won't be shed as specialist police search dense bushland near Tamworth for fugitive Malcolm Naden.
With a $100,000 reward on his head, Naden is the state's most hunted man. He is wanted on warrants for the January 2005 disappearance of Lateesha, the June 2005 murder of her friend Kristy Scholes and a 2004 aggravated indecent assault on a teenaged girl.
Mr Peet has been tracking Naden's movements around the state since the now 38-year-old went on the run after the body of Kristy Scholes was found in the bedroom of a Bunglegumbie Road house on June 23, 2005.
"The only hope of finding her body is if Malcolm is taken into custody alive," Mr Peet said.
"Malcolm is the nephew of Lateesha's mother Joan Nolan and I've known him most of his life. He is very fit and an expert bushman.
"I still can't understand what Malcolm has done and I fear he won't give up peacefully.''
